There should be a sign hanging outside Dr. John Robinson’s practice that reads, "Welcome Home." After all, that’s the feeling one gets when they visit, whether they come for removal of their third molars or for oral rehabilitation utilizing dental implants.
The atmosphere Dr. Robinson created in his modern surgical facility exudes comfort. A den like reception area invites relaxation with cozy chairs, a love seat and even a fireplace. A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Robinson received his D.M.D. and B.S. in Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Center spending elective training time at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He holds Dental Licenses in North and South Carolina and began practicing in 1994.

As a specialist in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Robinson is uniquely qualified to diagnose, manage and treat a wide spectrum of the teeth, mouth, jaw and facial regions. His expertise ranges from intraoral surgery like extractions, wisdom teeth removal and biopsies to management of dentofacial deformities through orthognathic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Robinson also performs a range of Dental Implant procedures including rebuilding deficient jawbone areas to facilitate placement of dental implants…one of his special interests.
Dr. Robinson is a member of several professional organizations and is a Board Certified Diplomate Oral And Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
His office is located within Regional Medical Park on Sweeten Creek Road at 4 Medical Park Drive. The facility accommodates the entire experience from consultation through final follow-up as needed.
